I'm Stephen Harris and my journey from 25 years in sales and marketing to a passion for woodworking and framing has been extremely transformative. After volunteering at a framing shop for three years in 2016, I found a deep longing for more artistic freedom in frame design.
ONE EYE ON THE PAST
Drawing inspiration from 300 years of frame design and techniques, I study and appreciate the craftsmanship of past eras, allowing me to infuse my own contemporary twist into personalised frame creations. With meticulous attention to detail, I carefully choose finishes like paint, stain, or metal leaf to enhance the visual experience and elevate the impact of the artwork.
PERSONALISED APPROACH
With each individualised frame design, I aim to elevate the artwork by creating a harmonious union between frame and art. It becomes a journey with me getting to know likes and dislikes, to help my client make informed decisions. My ultimate goal is to enrich the visual experience by offering the client a fusion of functionality and aesthetic allure in every frame I create.
